13 – Peaches

Peaches are a low-calorie fruit, with only 52 calories per cup. They’re also high in fiber, vitamin A and C, potassium and antioxidants. Peaches are good sources of beta-carotene and lutein — both important for eye health. Because they’re high in pectin (a soluble fiber), eating peaches can help lower cholesterol levels.
You can add them to porridge or smoothies for an extra burst of sweetness without all the refined sugar that comes from added sugars like honey or maple syrup (which we don’t recommend). You can also enjoy them fresh as part of a light summer salad alongside other fruits like melon or strawberries!
